No Wellness Nonsense.

The world of wellness if full of misleading claims. My aim is to cut through the ‘BS’ and simplify the science around how diet and lifestyle affect our health and wellbeing.

 

Evidence Based.

Nutrition information provided will be based on robust scientific evidence. As a nutrition BSc graduate currently studying for my masters, this is something I’m very passionate about.

Holistic.

Health and wellness are not all about food! A holistic approach also means covering topics around lifestyle, such as sleep, movement and stress.

 

Free-From Recipes.

I’m gluten intolerant and mainly plant-based, so my recipes are too. Having said this, I’m an advocate of eating what’s right for you as an individual. I like to think of recipes as a source of inspiration- for ideas or to be adapted to suit your own dietary needs.

About Me-

I love to cook and develop new recipes- delicious food brings me joy and so does sharing it with others. I also enjoy food photography and health writing, hence, Nourish & Thrive was created!

I have a BSc in Nutrition and Public Health (AfN accredited) and am currently studying part-time for an MSc in Nutrition Science and practice. My MSc course is focused around Nutritional Therapy and individualised nutrition, so I’m excited to start practicing as a freelance Nutritionist when I graduate.
